Tuning on boost?!
Hondata, Chrome or Uberdata for tuning? i have my eye on the Hondata s200 w/boost option and tuning the car with it, i would'nt need to run a FMU(Vortec 12:1,etc) or Missing link correct, when i go that route? since the fuel management/engine will be tuned to run at specifics settings that replace the FMU and Missing Link? Thanks!

Thought so, that answers my guaranteed answer. BUT say you dont have a hondata for the mean time then you would have to use an FMU and missing link correct? Cause i wont be able to get hondata for a few weeks or so after the turbo kit is installed, $$ of course, then i can get hondata, and with the FMU and missing link, you just take them off after i get hondata or it stays there just wont be functional?

Make sure you run a walbro 255 in-tank fuel pump.
To be honest with you, I would not even waste your time with running the fmu/missing link set-up. Wait until you install everything at once.
If you cannot do this though, run the FMU, missing-link, and run low boost until you get everything properly tuned. If you have an obd1 set-up, remove about 3-4 degrees of base timing from the distributor. So say you have 16 degree's base... retard it to 12 or 13. Then when you get the hondata set it back to the stock base timing.
The s200b unit is nice, but I would recommend going with the new s300 units. They are only $100 more and they are much easier to work with and have a ton of new options available that the s200's don't. If you need anymore info feel free to drop me a PM

Re: Tuning on boost?! (PrecisionH23a)
I see, well i assumed not to boost high any way because it's not tuned yet, and when you mean run low, no more then 8psi or run at its minimum. BUT for how long would i be able to run the car with out hondata, but still run low boost, just asking if that ever happens but i will push to wait until i get hondata and the turbo kit all at once, the patience will be worth it all!!, OR i should just wait for the hondata and get everything installed and tuned at the same time all at once, oh yah I already have walbro 255lph fuel pump already in the car. THANKS!! a bunch appreciate, definitely PM you for more advice and info when i go boost soon

pre 96 is obdI.....so you are running obd I....i'd definitely stay away from the fmu/missing link....and if you are going hondata the s300 is worth the extra 100....but if your looking to save some money, and still have a good tune look into crome pro....i have it and i love it
