Default tuning with bad seals?

First off, I want to let anybody who may be able to help me that tried searching for what I thought a thread that already has the information I'm trying to obtain would have in the title but didn't have any luck. If you know of one or have one bookmarked, please send me the link.

Long story short I traded my car for another car that needs retuned (currently running crower stage2 turbo cams but running gsr cams, motor is fully built b16 on stock sleeves) and a new turbo because the seals are going. I want to get it tuned as soon as possible so I know a/f's are healthy and I have the money for my tune right now.

My question is this: If I get my car tuned on the bad turbo but replace it with one that has the same specs would I have to get a retune again after i switched turbos? I realize the car may not put down the numbers it could if the turbo is going out but I'd much rather have lower hp for 2 weeks than run it needing a new tune for another 2 weeks until funds will allow the purchase of a new turbo.

TIA,

Ben
