Tuesday is dyno day!!
Alright folks, I spoke with Abid of SFP and I've decided to go ahead and fork over the kidneys for some Hondata tuning next Tuesday. It's costing me $500 for the tune, an extra $350 if I choose to tune over 7psi (they charge $350 in 7psi increments over the first 7psi), so I guess I'll have to lose the rush of 12psi for a while
It'll just be till I get my block built and installed, then I'll head back to tune the next 7psi (14psi), or I'll just go to John up in Tampa for that. Any ideas/tips I should keep with me when I head to get dyno'd? Let me know... I'm hoping for at least 175whp @ 7psi, hope I get there!

WTF? They charge on a "PSI" basis? That's the most ridiculously f*cked up thing I've ever heard! If you've set up the fuel system appropriately, they shouldn't have to do any extra work to tune 12 psi than 7... and if you haven't set up the fuel system right, then the extra money isn't going to do you a damn bit of good.

Save your money my friend and find somebody else to tune it. They are just taken you for a ride. Thats ludicris. I have dyno tuned peoples cars with Felpro units with the wide band o2 for 60 bucks an hour and it shouldn't take longer then 2 hours to dial you in (and thats CDN dollars). Drive the extra distance to have somebody tune your car that isn't ready to bend you over in the process. Just get it tuned at 7 to 8 psi if you gotta drive a couple hours to get there, that way you can make it back home without any problems (run good fuel to C12 or better). Good luck bro, keep us informed.
Problem is guys.. only other place I'd go is to John (VaporTrail), except he's some 300+ miles away in Tampa, kinda far for a tuning jaunt. I dunno, let me contact John and we'll see
