Default trust this?

here is an ad that caught my interest. is it a trustable setup? ne questions i should ask this guy? maybe ask what fuel management he's running? im new to this

the ad read as follows:

i am selling my complete turbo kit for a 1.6 engine. it comes with the turbo, manifold, intercooler, bov, oil line, check valve and the piping. i am only asking $1200 for the whole kit. the turbo is off of a conquest tsi and was rebuilt about 2000 miles ago. also the intercooler is from a conquest, its a front mount intercooler(real big), i used the turbo for 7lbs probaly capable of 12lbs.

only interested cuz its affordable and close to me, but im scared that it mite break down on me.

try a turbine make and model for starters...doesn't seem like you're in a place to build your own or transplant

You mean $2500 for the greddy turbo KIT right? $250 is just way too crazy, correct me if this random act of god on pricing.

He said $250 more
$1200+250 = 1450
That website he linked has the SOHC GReddy kit for $1477 or so.

yea i kno, i had my decision down to getting a used setup or a brand new greddy. i can get greddy shipped to my door for around $1500, but then it has no intercooler and no BOV, which are already two things i would want to add on. the only advantage to a used setup is that is usually has nearly everything i want/need and anything that has to be tapped/welded (oil pan, BOV, etc) is usually done already. in the end i'll prob end up with the greddy anyway cuz i dont wanna buy used and see $1000+ dollars go to waste if it breaks down
