Tranny question
ok yeah yeha yeha i've done the oh magic search button!
ok right now i have a b16 tranny for my setup up cuz i found a cheap one so i got it.
I'm looking into getting a tranny that best would fit me. I got a Nice motor, Nice turbo, and a really nice HEAD mostly highway fun and once in a while hit the track.
Also i fig that since i might not have full boost till about 4800-5000 i was going to switch gears at about 9500.

Re: Tranny question (Soon_2b_evil)
Starting with a GSR transmission, we simply replaced 3rd and 4th gear with units from an Integra Type R or b16. These gears are considerably shorter than the GSR gears they replaced, further improving acceleration. Fifth gear was replaced with one from an Integra LS, for comfortable cruising rpm's and if desired, amazing top speed.
Thats what i was thinking about doing. can i just use a b16 tranny and do this?
