94 civic w/ 95 Turbo ls (Stock)
Second gear syncro is gone , tranny has 110,000 or so... time to replace
now, should i replace with another stock ls tranny or go with a gsr?
I am hearing different things... the turbo spools up hard and fast, but a little later (3100 or so) - .60 trim... It pulls real hard with the ls tranny but im wondering if it would be worth changing to a gsr...
1st and second are identical, but how would the car respond to the lower gearing of 3rd,4th,5th? Less spool tome? Also, would highway driving suck... (gsr gets bearly 80 mph at 4 grand ... aposed to 90mph at 4 grand with an ls )
Well ive heard a lot of different things... I have done plently of research, i am very much aware of the gear ratios and final drives of each option, just lookin for a pesonal experience or a someone who has been in a similar predicament...
