hey guys looking for what tranny is best for a ls/vtec turbo swap in a ej coupe. i am doing some research for a buddy of mine. i searched the whole forced induction thread and found nothing. i know most of you guys are just going to tell me to search but i am lazy and would like some input. thanks in advance.

 

if your planning on trapping over 120mph GSR...under ITR/B16

how much power is he making? im serious if time slips are important...

my buddy has a 1.8l with an B16/ITR tranny... when he has his slicks on he will have to shift into 5th before going threw the traps...it sucks *****... ~120mph... about 350-400whp should get you there...

with a GSR tranny that would give him another 10mph on the traps before having to shift... trappin ~130mph

LS would get you to about 140...thats low 10s
