Default Torque rating for an automatic...

I plan on putting a turbo on my 97 Civic EX. Its an automatic. How much torque is the automatic rated for?

Bump

This isnt a question about which CF shift **** I should get. This is something important.

Doesnt anyone know how much torque I can put through an automatic before it blows up?

In my experience and others, a honda auto will hold about 200whp effectively before it starts slipping, and eventually blowing up. I lasted a year and my tranny is still good (although now sitting on the floor in the garage).

The numbers in my sig are what I made while automatic to the wheels at ~8psi.

do you know which jdm auto tranny will work on your car?
Im thinking they're all the same for all b-series 89' and up.
Could yours work with an early b16a auto tranny (lsd option)?

Thanks for the info.

Actually Im trying to avoid swapping out any major components since I dont have the time. Otherwise I would just do an engine swap. Thank you.
