Default Torque converter ok for a daily driver?

Who out there has a torque converter from level 10?

How is the ride?

Does it improve launches that much?

I ordered one, and I can't wait to see the difference.

THanks.

what stall did you get it set at?? it should help out tremendously on your launches...definitely give you a couple tenths off 60's and your ets. i hopw you know that the converter is not what's going to so much 'hold more power'. getting the clutch plates replaced with heavy duty ones (level 10 pts kit, $300) is what is going to let you get more power output to wheels and let you boost high without slipping so much and hitting the limiter and the usual dissappointing stuff that happens when you try and boost high with the stock auto. as long as the stall isn't set too high, like i wouldn't have gotten anything higher than 4.5k-5k rpm. but then it depends on your powerband.
