Default torque converter (higher stall)

Hey guys (and girls) can someone help with a problem, this is my situation:

I am building up my f22b1 motor (pistons, rods, valves, springs, etc.....) to handle about 15 pounds of boost, my problems is that I will have a lag off the line with my turbo since my car is an auto, so im putting a 75-100 of NOS to get me off the line. Do you think is should just get a higher stall for my Torque Converter from level ten or just run the NOS, or both. If so at about with rpm should my stall be?

thanks

both, but my real suggestion you already know

ditch the tranny, i did and will never look back. that is probably the weakest
tranny that honda makes. Way back when i had my accord stock (with auto)
i had a 75 shot, i/h/e,and tb. i went through 3, thats right 3 tranny's in 1 year,
save yourself the trouble, hassle, and money, and switch it's really preaty easy
did it myself in a weekend. plus the enjoyment factor quadruples and thats what you are realy after, right

my .02

If you could get an auto tranny like the ZF for vettes you will be laughing at us all, the problem is that I dont even think level 10 can make a strong enough high stall converter, not ever using one I would speak with their tech guys about a 4500 stall.

i mean if the neon can do it i dont see why a honda cant do the same. Its pretty much how the build valve bodies as well as your converter. Everyhting inside is gonna need toget upgraded. I would take to somone like level 10 and discuss your application with them. Anyone with money can get anything done.

we only have 1/8th mile locally...my car was a auto turbo hybrid hatch...stock ls motor, tranny, turbo kit (6 psi) and i was getting 8.5-8.7 all day and night. 2.1 60's on 175/70/r-13 stock wheels and tires!...auto is very consistent and though no one liked it, i did. everyone in this town respects me becaause my car auto was working all the mild tt cars (supras, vr4's, z's) corvettes. with the manual, my car is a sec slower average because of wheelspin though i have that taken care of but haven't retimed yet. i am trying to say that having raced both...i want another fully built motor and built auto tranny hatch. just for racing but that won't happen anytime soon. just costs about a grand for level ten to 'bullet proof' your tranny and the converter is another $500-600 bucks. i say if you had a lighter car it would be worth it but honestly i don't think you can have a fast heavy auto car. you'll spend sooo much building a high horse motor to move the weight. good luck whatever you do.

At 15 lbs of boost you will need to get your tranny Level Ten Rebuild. A convertor alone will not do

Buy the level ten kit take it to tranny shop to get rebuild and get the convertor built whilke the tranny is being rebuilt and you have a built tranny good for about 350-400 at half the cost

Oh. Well in reality any shop that rebuilds trannys can and should do it for you. Up in NY we have plenty. Alot of times it is the smaller shoips that rebuild the tranny right there and then while the larger ones send it out to be rebuild

you can always get the shiftronic kit by levelten... over $1000 and it should be shifting faster than a manual.

I personally have been able to get quite a bit of power from my auto... but the auto has sucked for a long time now. I'm probably gonna buy the rebuild kit and try to do it myself... if i can't then its off to a local shop. I would like to get the works, but thats gonna be a while... about 2G's for everything, not including labor.

Im personally just working out all the kinks in the engine first, then i'll worry about the tranny later. I figure its good enough and I'm not really racing right now and if i am low 14's will do the trick a lot of the time. Ever check that AAMCO place? Supposedly cheap... just buy the parts and have them rebuild it with the levelten parts.
