for what its worth yeah its a good turbo manifold but its not worth spending that much money on that manifold when you can by manifolds from other companies that do the same job and hold up as well. all my cars that I build for myself and for customers i run nothing but neukin manifolds. they are extremely durable and i have not had one crack on me or show signs on weakness yet. and for the money that i saved on purchasing one of he's i was able to throw it where it really counts like in the turbo or motor. the only real thing anyone can say is, choose wisely end result is, its your car and nobody else's. just telling you straight up. </TD></TR></TABLE>
neukin had some bad wastegate quality control issues in the past. they literally fail off

There is a reason everyone is on FR nuts, do you think it could be because they are doing something right? Not to say all other companies are junk but most of the fastest SFWD cars run FR manifolds, go figure.

The reason why is because of the engineering and research they put into their products; they arguably make the best mass produced manifolds on the market for Honda and other import cars. If someone is going with a T4 based turbo, its usually a sign that they want to make big numbers. At that level, every little thing you can do helps, and in my opinion the difference in cost is worth it. The only thing better would be a completely custom manifold with design insight from someone like Burns Stainless, but thats a different ballgame and the thicker piping on the FR manifolds would be better suited for a primarily street car.

LOL... is there a problem with the wastegate area? the welds too weak or material? I'm not too worried about that for now i guess. Just waiting for my manifold to come... hopefully soon.............................................. ..........
If i knew the wait was this long I would of just bought a FR manifold and call it a day.

Actually I did mean that I prefered the Lovefab for wg performance not really fitment. Look at the natural flow of the collector and the angle of the wg neck. The angle between the two is lower (easier flow transition) than any of the other designs you mentioned.
Its minor, but this is coming from a guy with a Hytech turbo manifold so Im biased.

there was past issues of the welds not being strong enough in the WG area

Yep, but I bet in Fullrace's point of view, they chose a less ideal WG location to improve turbo fitment, but went with a bigger WG to combat the problem. In the end, it boils down to whatever works. I am sure not many out there would want to run 7 PSI on a GT42R with a topmount setup..haha
The funny thing is, I still like your Hytech the best...ROFL

Your right, all designs we're discussing here work. You dont NEED a manifold with wg priority, I just hate it when you need two wg's or a super large wg to compensate.

Naw I don't think so, Alex is just really busy. But I am a bit disappointed that its taking so long and I honestly don't know when I'll get my order. Thats the sucky part. And its hard to contact them by phone also, they are too understaff or just trying to do too much.
