Default top end power in JR super

i have a few questions, since gsr's have lots of topend and need as much lowend as possible would it be a good idea to get a super? if i get the jackson supercharger will i sacrifice top end power for low end power, ive heard this before in a HT posting but i couldnt find it. my goals are to beat most v6 cars. but if i buy turbo would i get mostly topend? ive reasearched but havent gotten a clear answer. i have a 1997 gsr with standard bolt ons and thats pretty much it. also i have another question, with superchargers is there a way to set how much psi is being boosted? wut is the top psi i can boost a supercharger. i have heard, that there is a supercharger that can be used with a blow off valve. is it true? but wut air is to be blow out? please help guys, thansk a lot
