Default Top End Issue!

I got a new rebuild Turbo last week which has a Comp of a/r .60 and Turb. of a/r .36. It spools really quick and as a pre-test race, I race my brothers GS-T and beat him on the launch, but after he pull his gear to third, he was just pulling all the way bye two cars. I'm boosting about 8-10lbs on stock bottom internals. I only have a D16A6 engine and I'm not sure if my car could keep up to him at all in the first place.

Is his car modded or stock? My D16 is bone stock internally also, and on 8-9psi on a small TD04, I blow stock DSM's away by car lengths. You sure you're running w/o any obstructions or problems? Are you getting full boost? Leaking? Running an internal or external WG? Boost controler?

what kinda turbo is it? the a/r of the exhaust housing seems kinda small.. a larger housing would benefit top-end but in turn it will lag a bit

he has greddy 2.5" exhaust system and K&N filter. I'm getting full boost but wouldn't hold there for a long time, probably due to my A/R specs. I have a T3 Turbo. Compressor side is .60 and the exhaust side is .36. I boost really quick ..I took him by 2 cars in first two gears, but after third he just pull slowly and gone.. I'm running:

T3 Turbo (comp. .60, turbine .36)
35mm Tial wastegate
manual boost controller
RC 310cc injectors
8:1 FMU, 2" intake piping
2.5" custom exhaust piping
starion intercooler
MSD inline fuel pump

any suggestion is welcome
