Default TOO Rich...

What's H-T.. I have a B16 bossted, but it's running way too rich. I have the 255 walbro pump, 550cc injectors, aem fuel rail, aem FPR and currently running 43psi of fuel.. I have already adjust the FPR as much as it will possibly go so my question is what else can I do to lean out my fuel some. I can't even step on the gas pedal without flooding it out..I have searched already so please don't post that.. Thanks H-T.

Here's a thought: get it tuned*.

So get it towed to a tuner. In the meantime, you can put your fuel system back to stock and take the spring out of your wastegate. You can't have your cake and eat it too, kid. Get it tuned and drive a fast car or don't get it tuned and don't drive. You can't just tinker with fuel pressure and crap-shoot huge injectors on the stock ECU and expect it to be safe to play with.

It doesn't work that way.

does it have a chip letting the ecu know that size injectors? if not your gonna have to put stocks back in and drive it to someone that can tune it. when you get there throw in the bigger ones.

thanks for the post...I fully plan on getting it tuned but I made this thread to see if there was a way, other than towing it, to get it to the tuner.

I have the hondata s200 w/boost. A baseline was put in with injector size but still way too rich.

Get some free management like Crome and then you could adjust the fuel yourself and not need a tuner . You're obviously going to need someone to burn you a better basemap. Basemaps should idle like stock and drive out of boost pretty much stock too...

Are those injectors saturated or peak and hold? If there peak and hold did you install a resistor box?

You might want to try another basemap. Who burned you the basemap? I had phearable make me a basemap to drive around on when mine was untuned and it idled my RC 550's like they were stock.

just do as Archidictus said, put the stock injectors in and take the spring out and drive it to the tuner and put the bigger ones back in, its simple, u can do that or pay a **** load for a tow and go through the drama, same **** i did, left stock injectors in and drove to the tuner.
