Tire size question
Hey guys,
I know this is not the tire section but this section has the most experience and the tire section seems quiet...
I borrowed my friends Mickey Thompson ET Street Radial II, the size is: 205-50-15
here's a pic
Now I'm getting my own and I want to be sure the tire fits especially since I'm dropped. I'm getting them for a 14" rims,
Should I go with 205/50/14 (22 x 8.50R14)
or
Should I go with 215/60/14 (24 x 8.50R14)
can any one help me?

Re: Tire size question
the 22x8.5 will fit the 24x8.5 will rub. but your best bit is for the 24x8.5 works a lot better for traction purposes just rise the car a lil. i had drop springs on one of my street cars "dc" i was using 205 55 15 for a while then i bought 225 50 15 bfgs and they rub big time so i put a omni drag coilovers to rise it so they can clear.

Re: Tire size question
More info that maybe would help:
This is for an integra (picture above) with 460whp and I will be putting them on steelies.
Got a gsr tranny, dropped on neuspeed sport 1.75" front
I put my friends slicks on a few days ago 24.5 on 15" rim and I chose not to run them because it was way to close to the fender. I had about 0.5" clearance and I was worried that when they balloon they'll rub.
So I assume that the 215 60 14 drag radials (24") will be ok since it will give me about 1" clearance total and they don't balloon like slicks.
Am I right to assume this and proceed with purchasing the bigger size?
Also my stock tire is 195-60-14 (23")
