tire question for si's
two part question. i got si rims on my eg. I wanna know whats a good size/brand tire for them, something low pro but not too much.
And
what exactly do the measurements mean xx/xx/xx? displacement mumbo jumbo yadda yadda.
dont flame just tryin to educate myself.

I don't know what they come wiht stock, but it's probobally a 195/55/15. The first number is the width of the tire in mm, so the tire is 195mm wide. The next number is the height of the sidewall in relation to the width. So the tire is 55% of 195mm. The last number of the equation is what size rim it fits on. I would check the Falken Azenis and the AVS ES100s

No no, the best tire size for Si rims is 205/50/15, they will give you more wisth which equates to more traction. The "50" is the sidewall height and will be more low profile than the stock 55mm size. Lower profile + more width = better handling (to some extent)

I agree and disagree. A 205/50/15 is almost the exact same height as a 195/55/15. But a 205 will give you better traction in most cases. The 55/50 is a PERCENT, not a designated height.
