Default Tire fitment question

you guys would know. Do you think a 235/60/15 will fit under a stock front end? This is using a 15x6.5 wheel, 35mm offset. Car is a EG. Thanks!

I hope you mean something with a smaller sidewall... those tires are ALMOST 26" tall! A 225/60/15 is a stock Mustang tire size, at 25.6" ish height.

225/50/15 might be what you were thinking... Hybrid901 has those on his 15x7's now.

and they rub a little.
I had to raise my coilovers up to clear them and they still rub a little at full turn. My car might be 1" lower than stock now.

no, I really was thinking 235/60/15. This would be strictly for drag use only, turning is of little concern I just wanna know if they will fit and allow me at least some turning radius. Looks as though it's going to be quite tight.

mm = Motormatrix

On his street car I remember him running a pretty wide tire.

He runs a 255/45/16. 10.2" wide, 25" tall.

the 235/60/15 is 9.25" wide, 26" tall.

might look like a hooptie (front higher than the back).
you must have very short gearing if you're going to run meats like that.

function > form

I got a different set of wheels if I want the car to look tough. But personally I think FWD's with big meats look pretty bad ***!

You would be better off with a 10" wide tire than a 9" wide for traction.

Don't think that you will be able to get that to fit in a 60 series thats a pretty tall tire. I want to buy some 26 inch slicks but i will bet money I will get custom fender flairs if i stick those on my car.
