after some bad luck with my b16 , i have built a b20 vtec
b20b4
stock notch piston
honda ring
b16 oil pump and water pump
b16 head completly rebuilt
b16 cams and valvetrain
ajustable cam gears set to 0
this engine is completly new and
i want to know what is the best timming i can set with the distributor for the breakin
i run turbo with 8 pound

Isnt the tuner only as good as the petrol the car is running on?
If you running a higher octane fuel then there is less chance of detonation which would break the sleeves?

i m running higher octane i ound in my town 91 octane but before to go on the dyno for tune my car i need to do the timming on the distributor, i have read in the manual shop for a b16 it s 12 degree +-2degree i will put this for the break in i need to do 200-300 mile before to go on the dyno
