Timing problem with hack

Default Timing problem with hack

Can someone please explain why the Vafc alters the timing.
I cant see why it does it.

A drop in MAP voltage normally is associated with an increase in engine vacuum. The ecu is programmed to respond to this by advancing the timing. When using the hack, you are artificially reducing the MAP voltage to run larger injectors and prevent the ecu from "seeing" boost.
