how tall is the tial q bov versus the 50mm? for whatever reason my ic piping has the v-band flange on the top versus on the side, so i need whatever is shorter so it doesn't hit the hood.

 

it's about 1/4" taller

 

You could use a Turbosmart Race Port. It has a 52mm piston and not only out flows the Q valve but it is the same size as the standard tial 50mm

Not to argue cause I love tial products but I've also had great luck with turbosmart products. Although the main idea of it is to be like the tial and outflow the 50mm it is a nice piece as far as outflowing the q I don't have experience soni will keep my mouth shut lol. I run te turbosmart raceport and love it. I've also run the tial 50 and a turbosmart megasonic. All very good bov's
