1/8" BST is pretty standard on Hondas.

Anyone else know for sure?

And what I want to know is why the hell... no... why the **** did Honda make EVERYTHING else on the car metric and easy to work on, but decided for some goddamn reason to use BSP thread on just the oil pressure sender. I could understand if the cars were made in Britan, but for chrissakes, WTF, ya know? Even though NPT is close enough, it still aggrivates me to no end.

Simple,

Because the industry standard, low-cost oil sender was BST so Honda saved money on not re-inventing the wheel and used the industry standard.

At the time Bosch was ruling the field and that was the winner.

Yeah, but try finding that part here in Vermont... Most places hadn't even heard of BSP.

Go to Autozone, Adavance Auto, or most other large chains, and get the Sunpro Metric Gauge fitting thing. It's about 5 dollars, and comes with 5 fittings, one of which is a 1/8npt to 1/8th bspt. I got one and it's working fine

Nope. That's NPT. You don't want to stick that in your block.

You can also get the adapter at Autozone. It comes in a guage adapter kit with a few other metric adapters. It's made by Sunco or something like that. It's about $5 for the whole kit. Just throw out or save the ones you don't need.
