Thread on header bolts? need to put stage 8 on.
Hey guys,
Over time I've fixed all my turbo related bolts & nuts vibrating loose with the exception of the manifold to the cylinder heat nuts. The last issue that still plagues me with coming loose. So I want to install some Stage 8 locking fasteners. Anyone know what the correct one to order is? They have various sizes and thread pitches. I have a D16Y8 stock head with stock studs sticking out.

Thanks
Malcolm

Thanks for the sizing. I'll just get the Stage 8s. I've used them in the past on other vehicles and I really like them a lot. Very easy to use and work well.

If you look at the link above the pictures almost self explain it. So the bolts or nuts (which ever style you need) have a hex head like normal bolts except there's a grove cut all the way around where a C clip can go on. After you've fastened the nut down you have a bag of guitar looking pics best I can explain them. They have a hole cut in them with a ton of teeth in an off set manner. You slip it over the head of the bolt so that the ear piece sticking out is touching or almost touching the exhaust manifold tube in the backing out direction of rotation. Then place the C clip on to snap and hold in place. Now the bolt can't ever back out unless you remove the C clip and pull that ear piece off.
It goes really quick. You just install all their nuts or bolts and once done put those tabs on and snap on the C clips and done.
