Default thoughts on this engine setup

assembling this today, just wanted to get some opinions from you guys.

im expecting a lot of hate haha.

b16a head, 01 itr cams
b18b1 block, 81mm
b18b1 crank
b16 tuner toys rods
81mm forged 3.5cc dome pistons (this setup will be 8.6:1 according to zeal)
ls rod bearings

now it has the same displacement as an ls, and the rod stroke ratio goes from 1.54:1 to 1.51:1 which aside from compression, is the only change that will be from using the b16 rods.

the only reason i am putting this together was that i planned to build a b16 but i can just toss this stuff in an ls block/crank and gain some displacement without buying all new parts.

also the dimensions of the b16 rod and an ls rod are EXACTLY the same ASIDE from length, the wide and journals are the same.

the b16 rods are 3mm shorter then the ls rods. stuff im sure all of you know but ive never seen anyone actually do this... and no i wasnt set out to make this build, im just using whats laying around at my house.

someone correct me if im wrong but i think b16 rods in a ls block will seriously reduce compression.

yup. those pistons on the ls rods would be 11.3:1 but with the b16 rods it will be 8.6:1. i didnt set out to build this, just a bunch of parts i have laying around that im putting together.

Well... it's gonna suck *** under 3000 rpm compared to most builds - I say this 100% regarding daily driving duties and not WOT/racing. But go ahead and see what it'll do. lol
