Default To those of you with ZEX!

hey everyone - i have a 1994 teg RS and i am most likely going to buy a Zex kit - that i can get for a good price from a friend BRAND NEW- and i was wondering if anyone has had any problems with it, ones that couldnt have been prevented, for example running to large of a shot w/ stock internals. i would only be looking at a 50-60 shot since my RS still has stock internals (for now ) - would 50-60 shot be safe to run? ok thanks guys- Brad

You have typically 3 choices that come with the standard ZEX kit, a 55, 65, and 75 shot, and yes a 55 shot would be safe on stock internals.

NGKs and go one or two steps colder, and the CAI should be just fine. Tap the line about 6 inches from the throttle body.

I have a ZEX kit it is great! I love it, never had one problem at all, just get really tired of having to go and get it filled up all the damn time. n20 is exspensive its like 40 bucs everytime to fill my bottle around here but its so much fun. I installed my kit and took some pics if you want to check them out here is my web-site url.
