For those with RFL BOVs
Does anyone know how to remove the packing washers if they're already packed in the body? I purchased a used RFL with 2 washers already in it and im trying to remove them. I tried putting it in the freezer and prying them out with a screwdriver, but had no luck. Any suggestions?

Re: (unusual71)
im not sure about what the main body of the bov is made from so its hard to say if the washers will expand more/less than the body so heat it up and see if that works...take anything rubber out of course

not rusted, they just look like they were forced in there and have a tight fit with the body. Yes, they are for increasing spring pressure, but i dont need them.
