those with Blitz dsbc..
i finally got off my *** and wired up my ebc after finishing my turbo install a few days back (i needed a couple days rest). anyways i was just wondering what your gain and ratio settings are, for those running ~7 psi. I know i'll be fine tuning it in the next couple days but just wanted to know what settings people are running. tia.

7psi - just use your wastegate spring - what is the spring?

Re: those with Blitz dsbc.. (vudoo666)
for .6 bar.. i have my dsbc set to 32% duty cycle and 30% gain, crisp spoolup... will spike a little bit... for 10lbs i have it set to 38%
as a safety precaution i have the overboost set to .68bar and -5% reduction..
no scramble is setup yet.. since it's kinda hard to reach in the middle of shifting..
I ran 10psi once with the settings i have above for 10psi... i hit the .68 bar limit.. after a spike to .71 it felt like i hit a wall, but the car slowed for a brief second while the turbo corrected the 5% and then rocketed off...
play with the reduction for overboost a little... you dont want to spike and then reduce less thatn what you want originaly...
you might think it takes a large % to increase boost a few psi.. but as you can see from the numbers... it dont take much to up the boost...
imagine when i was at 50% a couple times.... talk about fast!!!!!!!!!

Re: those with Blitz dsbc.. (GSRwBOOST)
dam how come your settings are so much higher than mine? if i increase gain to 10 and ratio to ~23 i easily boost a little over 9 lbs (0.63 kg/cm2). yor gain is set to 30??? i would think that causes massive overboost. i dont know; maybe i'll leave it alone for now. testing this turbo kit and ebc is getting me ~13 miles/gal.

the different settings for the same boost levels will depend on your setup, i.e. turbo and wastegate, etc.
I've got an Si with Greddy Turbo, type 24 IC, 3" exhaust.
I've got my gain set at 32,
Ratio 5: .5bar or so
Ratio 25: .6bar
Ratio 30: .65bar
Ratio 41: .71 bar (10psi)
I believe those are approx. what my settings are...

Re: those with Blitz dsbc.. (vudoo666)
spoolup is pretty fast... spikes about .1-.2 over the target.. on cold days.
i read several websites and they suggested for twin turbo setups to have lower gain and for single setups w/ dsbc to have a slightly larger number.
the gain should never be higher than the ratio you set...
for single turbo's they recommended between 20-30 gain... with less than 20 for twin turbo's....
i started off with 5 and worked my way up from there... and settled with 30%
i took my time.. adjusting it a little each day until i was confortable with it.. so it took me several weeks to get it where i wanted it andit worked best... i didnt tryto do it in one day... cause i'd go crazy...
