Default Thinking about a rebuild - Comments? Recommendations?

Well I'm leaking oil at an alarming rate and loosing compression so I'm planning on rebuilding my motor. While I don't have a lot of extra cash to boost it right now, I would like to at some point down the road. (maybe next fall) but I need my car to be drivable now. My plan is to go right through the bottom end. Getting the block honed out, new pistons, rings, rods, main bearings, gaskets ect...

My plan is to build the bottom end to handle higher boost levels while keeping compression and displacement as close to stock so I don't have to get retuned right away. I had thought about going all motor but boost is more fun and All motor would cost me more all around...
I have a B16A3. Comments? Recommendations?
Thanks

Where are you leaking oil from? What do you mean by, you are losing compression?

What are your goals for this build? That would help to determine what you need to do.

I'm burning oil and have one cyl with low compression...I believe the piston rings are gone in that cyl. the car is still drivable, but would like to get things fixed before things get worse...I'm in the planning stages of this rebuild. I hope to do it this coming spring...

My initial goal is to stop the leaking and rebuild an engine with 210k miles on it. without having to get the engine tuned.

My longer term goal is boost and have a really fun daily driver. (250hp or so)

My budget only allows for one to happen at a time...hence the rebuild

If your planning for high boost your not going to be able to maintain your factory compression.

I'm in the Planning stages right now...I'm moving in the spring right down the road from work...I'll be an enviromentally freindly commuter for a bit...IE Peddle bike...when I'm actually doing the rebuild. I bought a house a while back and neglected my car...so now that I'm selling the house...She's getting more attention again...
