Default thicker headgaskets

I would like to know this forums opinion on a thicker headgasket, i have been hearing mixed opinions reguarding them. I am asking because i need to replace my headgasket soon and i was wondering if i could recieve a benefit from a thicker one, but not sacrafice reliability. I am running a D16Y5 motor 9.4:1 stock compression, T25 home made kit but prolly upgrading the turbo soon.

Just would like to get opinions on them, thanks.

and i already used the search function but couldnt find results that satisfied what i am asking.

thanks for any help

Seems like a give some get some deal. Higher comp is better for performance but harder on the engine and when you throw boost into the equation....hard to tell what the results will be but you will be able to boost higher.
