Default is this too much for boost?
11.4:1 compression

thinking of getting a turbo kit and boosting 7-8 psi

don't know if my compression is way too high though.

IMO.... its not

Not too high. Do a search for tonythetiger. He had a gsr with 11.5:1 comp. Tuning is the key.
