Default Thermal Research and development

My Thermal 3" turbo exhaust came in via overnight shipping from Kyle(KS motorsports ) today...

This thing is a piece of art. No joke. The material is thick, high quality stainless steel, the welds are nice and the over shape and design of the exhaust the the best I have ever seen....I had a GReddy evo prior to this and it just does not compare.

How come it only measures 2.5" in dia?

I got the 2.5" one and it is a bit less than that. Is this some sort of crazy scheme by Thermal to screw us?

They're probably giving you the ouside diameter of 3" ... that'd be my guess anyway.

it is 3". I did not do a very good job w/ the tape measure but if you look it actaully you can tell i kinda have the left side a tad to far over. None the less, it is a true 3" exhaust. It does not bolt up the the factory cat like most exhaust. I have a 2.5" ----3" test pipe i built.

I just picked up a brand new Thermal 3" for my CRX the other day. Got a deal and a half, only $300 brand new.
I'm extremely happy with it as well. I already knew Thermal made great quality
products, but just knowing how well my car is gonna breath with this brings
a smile to my face

on integras the thermal doesnt line up with the notch in the rear bumper. other than that is badass. i think i have some hearing loss though.

Sweet pics Chad! How's the car?
Here is my 3" Thermal compared to the HKS Super Dragger for my Teg. It is such a quality piece!

Oh yeah, is yours the Stealth model? Mine is and I decided to get rid of that option after I saw the small *** restriction.

VERY NICE.
i can see how maybe the material is better than your greddy evo but why do you think the thermal is so much better.
personally the evo muffler itself is the sweetest muffler around.
the tip is great!!!!!!(better than thermal) and imo the evo is greatest sounding exhaust on a honda!!!!!!!! no doubt in my mind. anyways.
i know the thermal is a good product but so is the greddy.

The best sound on a honda is a 3" bullet race muffler from Dynomax. It sounds so damn good, v8 guys are looking at you like what they hell do you got in there.

I have a complete exhaust for sale in the bay area for any 94-01 supercharged 2D integra that includes the following:
Kamikaze header with 2 and a half inch collector,
Cusom made 3' Straight pipe,
Thermal reasearch 3' cat back exhaust system,
Everything bolts up with flanges and has only been used for under 100 miles. Email me at splitpeafu@aol.com if you are interested or have any questions. Thanks.
