VERY NICE.
i can see how maybe the material is better than your greddy evo but why do you think the thermal is so much better.
personally the evo muffler itself is the sweetest muffler around.
the tip is great!!!!!!(better than thermal) and imo the evo is greatest sounding exhaust on a honda!!!!!!!! no doubt in my mind. anyways.
i know the thermal is a good product but so is the greddy.
I agree. I favor the the evo, because of the large volume of composite Greddy uses. The muffler is huge, but the tip is offset down.
Thermal just uses a lot of steel wool in their muff, does not sound good at all.

Thermal is what I have on my car.

The best sound on a honda is a 3" bullet race muffler from Dynomax. It sounds so damn good, v8 guys are looking at you like what they hell do you got in there. -boosted3g
Does it sound deep?

Sweet pics Chad! How's the car?
Here is my 3" Thermal compared to the HKS Super Dragger for my Teg. It is such a quality piece!

Oh yeah, is yours the Stealth model? Mine is and I decided to get rid of that option after I saw the small *** restriction.

JON!! what's up man...i've been meanig to call you but I have been super busy of late. I'll try and get a hold of you on monday, I ran into some major problems w/ my oil feed and return lines and ended up buying a complete new setup for it. Hopefully the car will be up and running monday, depending if I get my flanges in for my test pipe.

It's not the stealth model, just the plain turbo 3" all the way back, no resonators or anything.

AS for the EVO vs Thermal...hmm....2.25" piping w/ a pretty muffler is OK for na....but how can you even compare it to 3" piping for a turbo car. As for sound...blah...funcution over fashion!

And Art...i knew you would like my comment

i was very impressed with my 3" thermal as well. very high quality. and, in my opinion, with a turbo in there to quiet it down, has a nice throaty rumble to it. not ricey at all. thermal =

Ahhhhhhhh. When my 3" Thermal cam in, I was excited, but worried... I had GReddy SP on my Hatch, and I liked it because it was SOOO quiet. My car sounded stock with only pissed off sewing machine sounds being emitted from under the hood, witht eh occasional whistle of the BOV. SUPER SLEEPER besides the gauges and the tip.

Anyway.

When the Thermal boxes were opened and emptied, the end of the B pipe HAPPENED to align itself with my midsection and I seriously think I "cristened" it.

Once on the car with the turbo, it's just a nice rumble at idle, and driving full interior, my tires make more noise than the exhaust. VERY nice.

Ohhh yes, it is SUCH a nice piece of work. Thermal R&D must have phenominal R&D and QC.

Here's a DIRTY pic of mine and my flex/cat pipe.

i've got the n/a thermal classic.....i had the greddy sp and switched to this one. i personally think that the thermal sounds better. the only drawback is that it is louder.
