the downpipe is 2.5" and it does not replace your cat but is suppose to bolt up to it. So if you dont plan on replacing your cat then you'll have to go to the muffler shop to get a flange for your thermal 3"

No. if you dont have the cash for a hi-flow cat then you'll need a muffler shop to make your current setup all work together.

Car Sound 3" Cat: $99.00

Once the turbo kit is installed, drive the car to your muffler shop and they will take over from there.

I think you'll have to go to a muffler shop anyways 'cause I dont think the drag downpipe has a flange on it. As for the cat I think most FI guys on here do not recommend running a stock cat.

So it whould go like this....

Downpipe - 2.5" to 3" flange - Highflow 3" cat or test pipe - Thermal 3" ehxuast, do i have this correct?

Somehow i need to get the downpipe to 3", which would be the purpose of the flange

it may be a stupid question, but i'm just wondering what's the point in running a 3" exhaust with a only a 2.5" downpipe? and without a high flow cat? doesn't make any sense to me...
