With the amount of people using, researching, or planning on using the hack, would it be possible for someone to create a FAQ’s thread about the AFC hack and put a sticky on it? Or does one exist?
I have recently been researching on the S-AFC / V-AFC hack, and reading through the hundreds and hundreds of threads and even more posts is making my head spin. They have answered some questions, but have created even more.
If there was something we could reference, it would probably eliminate a lot of threads asking the same thing over and over. Like what the original hack is, what is does, what you need to make it work, how to hook it up, and more importantly: some of the variations of the hack and why they work better. It’s hard to grasp the variations without first completely understanding the original.
Normally I’d say “Do a search” but this seems like a big enough topic to look into providing some concrete info on. Do it for FI noobs like me!!

Thanks, but I found that thread already along with a hundred other ones when I search. It's very good and informative, however, my point is there are too many threads to sift through to get a straight answer to some questions. That's why I say there's a need for a FAQ's so people can reference that. I think that some people do search but get overwhelmed by the amount of threads. That's all

bump for someone who know their **** about afc hack to write up a FAQ about the afc hack questions. He'll i'd pay someone to teach me more.......

I've been doing search for like 1 week strait.... so many new questions, what if's?, senerios ect

 

What is needed for AFC Hack:

VAFC/SAFC - 250 new
DSM 450 Injectors - 100 used cleaned and balanced
Resistor Box from CRX - 20 dollars
Walbro 255 LPH Fuel pump - 100 new

 

what more is there to know about the hack.???? you get a turbo kit bolt it to your motor. get dsm 450 injectors, wire in a resistor box , wire up a VAFC or SAFC and set the settings to about -40 from 1000 rpms to about 8000 rpms and adjust according between -40 to about -35 what ever runs better and voila you can boost safely till about 10 psi then you get a CEL for map sensor. any more questions?
