Which one would be better, mind you this is a daily driver. I'm thinking high-flow cat, but a test pipe is usually cheaper and provides more power. But if I get a test pipe, don't I need a secondary 02 simulator or something like that? What does it cost? What high-flow cats do you guys recommend? Let me know, thanks.
I ran a straight pipe, and yeah, if I were you I would get something to emulate that ******* O2 so it doesn't fool the stupid ECU. GOD that was annoying...
did you ever have a problem running a straight pipe in california? i've been thinking about it, but i really don't want to call attention to myself. how'd it work out?
I'm no tree hugger, but get a high-flow cat and be good to the environment, especially since it's a daily driver. I'd recommend A Carsound cat, they outflow most cats on the market.
I sell them pretty cheap too.

i'd go with the 3" Carsound cat, though you'll sacrifice some power potential.
i'm using the 2.5" Carsound cat on my N/A+N2O setup now and have the 3" Carsound cat waiting to go on for my future turbo setup. they work great for the $$.
i'm no tree hugger but i do care for the enviroment.

i have an LS with a 2.5" straight pipe and a 2.5" catback... can't smell anything, just smells liek burnt gas/exhaust... no different than any other exhaust. I didn't notice a gain or decrese in horsepower, but then again i am still N/A.
