Default Teflon Paste for Nitrous gauge.

Should I use teflon paste on my nitrous bottle pressure gauge? I think I would be good just tightening it really tight since it's just like tightening the line on there, but I heard it's good to use teflon paste. A quick answer would be good, because track is tomorrow. Thanks! I just want to be safe, and not inhale nitrous all night.

Protip: There are more kinds of hose/pipe fittings available than just NPT and BSPT (taper thread). What about fittings with sylindrical threads with/without crush-seal like BSP, ORFS and DKO - would you use sealer on those?

Yea they only used tape for NPT, NOTHING else.

There are some super sweet sealing devices out there for 6000+ psi though, its wicked cool</TD></TR></TABLE>

I never use teflon tape only paste. Have found pieces of teflon tape in the filter before the nitrous solenoid before.
