Default Techedge WB system setup.

Ok I just got my Techedge wideband meter in the mail today. It didn't come with any instructions, but it looks like a real simple setup. Just two wires. + ignition and Ground. But the moniter has two plugs on it and only one plug on the WB "brain" So which plug goes on the brain and what is other plug for? They look like serial ports that you would find on the back of your computer. I am also assuming that the Power + Ground for the unit will take car of the O2 sensor heater.

Now I just need an O2 sensor!!

The longer cable goes into the unit and the shorter goes into a laptop for future datalogging capabilities.

It looks pretty good. Has quality conectors and looks professional. It goes for 290 + shipping. The only other thing needed is a Wideband O2 sensor which right now you can only get from honda for around $300

Does that have a digital readout? I thought Ive seen WB sensors for around $150...could be wrong though. Anyone know if I'm just nuts?

$150 is for a parts kit to put together the unit, as in diy electronics kit.

It has a very nice large digital A/F read out. I haven't seen it yet in person but the monitor looks really nice. Now for the O2 sensor you are righ. I have seen them as low as 120 from partsbin.com. But none of those aftermarket places has them in stock and they are on backorder for ever.
