Default Dynojet: WB O2 Replacement?

I've had several customers tell me that Volkswagen has an O2 sensor that is plug n play with Dynojet. I normally buy one from ACDelco (which are still $50 cheaper then buying them direct through Dynojet) but I'm told the VW ones are about half the price...

Does anyone have ANY insight on this subject/topic? I'm trying to avoid hacking up the O2 to have the right pigtail on it as well; again plug n play.

Any help is appreciated!

Nick

The VW o2 will require you to change the plug on your dynojet harness. It will work though with that mod. The dynojet wideband module sucks regardless though, it goes through sensors like crazy.

like tony said the VW 02 sensor requires changing the plug.

the "plug in" sensor is a Cadillac sensor

with either sensor, your going to be replacing sensors so often that it is more cost effective to actually get a wideband that is worth a ****. then you can also log all of your AFR through the EMS your using to tune with.

i used to go through multiple sensors a month. once i gave up on the dynojet wideband and got an FJO, im still on the same sensor probably like 8 months later.

the only time i use the dynojet wideband anymore is when a v8 guy or something is doing some baseline runs and wants a AFR print out so he can send it to his awesome internet tuner for a reflash. even then i still dont use that worthless *** AFR sniffer probe thing.

i should have the part number for either the VW sensor or caddy sensor if you still want it. shoot me a PM if so

Hehe, were mostly a V8 shop, running leaded gas through most of our cars.

The sniffer probe thing is a joke, all of our A/F readings are a weld in bung BEFORE the converters (if they have them).

The ACDelco pn is for a Cadillac that we currently use.

I'd be interested in the VW pn though

You can log AFR's through the ECU with this system too. I guess I must be lucky because my sensor lasts much much longer than what you guys are describing. My last one last for probably a year or so.

on our dyno, i cut off the dyno side connect and installed a bosch style plug. now we just buy bosch sensors in bulk for 40-50 bucks

I've ordered the VW one and it is just like the Innovate one, FYI if anyone wants to know.
