This is the setup, I'm hoping for 550 whp on 110 octane, and 10.99 or better et's.
It's been about 7 months coming (since I blew up my stock sleeved b18c1 w/325 whp-mustang dyno- that ran 11.9's). I've never been in a honda with more power than mine last year, so I'm excited... should be fun. Let me know what you guys think of the paint, I just didn't want it to look all nasty and ****

I was planning on neptune pretty much the entire build b/c I like the possibilities for boost control, and rpm control (3 step)... but I have a tuner who's local to me that tuned last year and I'd kinda like to stay loyal to him, so possibly uberdata or crome... whatever he wants to do pretty much.

Pics of the topmount... it's pretty sexy!

haha... I gotta wait till I get this motor in to start on it, but I've been researching for a while and have about 60 pictures printed out of different topmounts and different angles so I think it'll come along pretty quick.

dont mount your FPR off the end of your fuel rail. If its the way I think you have it...with the weight of the FPR supported by an AN fitting...you should definitely support the FPR some other way. looks good.

ugly motor but nice build
should make some awesome power.
i know i have about the same internals in my motor with a 70 trim strapped to it.
so with a good turbo like you got you will love your car way more when its done.

Thanks for all the comments and interest... with the build dragging out, I have started to lose interest, but then I'll read a success story, or see a dyno sheet and wanna keep going on mine

I had an apartment inspection yesterday, but they didn't leave me a notice or anything, so I guess they were ok with it

I dunno, I'd like to see that, but I'll be happy with 550... and in all honestly, i'm sure 500 would be plenty for me, that's still nearly 200 whp over my last years setup, which I thought was pretty quick.

I broke several AN fittings like that before I mounted my FPR on the firewall, it sucks having to pull over when you smell gas and you pop your hood only to see gas spraying all over your altenator when your 200 miles from home

Good luck!

Is this from personal experience or from what you've read? I have read horror stories, and talked to several engine builders who have told me about a bad batch of castings causing crower cams to break...but the ones I'm running have 3k miles on them so hopefully, if they were gonna break due to a casting imperfection, they already would have.

lots of horror stories, but mostly due to there lack or responce to probelms and there unwillingness to stand behind there product ... just the first thing that comes to my mind when I see "Crower Cams" in a turbo buildup...

I won't even run Crower NA products... Just my personal opinion though...

Good luck with the car should be a sick one
