Teardown pics...
Finally remembered to pull the pics of my recent teardown off the digi-cam...thought I'd share a couple:

Warranty...don't need no stinkin' warranty

Waiting for it's new heart....
Oohh...that hurts a little. The funny thing is that #2 (on the right) still had 190psi of compression when I pulled it apart...
Stripped and ready for its journey to Golden Eagle.
Didn't realize that it'd be so cheap to ship..._very_ nicely packed the block weighed in at 58lbs, $48 to ship from DE to CA.

I'm planning on going Hondata...currently trying to figure out the best way to rid myself of ATTS. At this point I'm going to put it back together as-is and run it in...then next spring move to the hondata setup w/ base tranny (want to run a LSD at some point...not possible with an SH-tranny). Should be interesting!
I blew the motor originally when the AVC-R spiked my boost...not entirely it's fault. The vacuum line running to its map sensor managed to get a hole worn through it (that would be my dumb *** not being careful!)...wasn't seeing all the boost, thought it was "smart" and increased the duty cycle. On the bright side I got to see what 18psi on a stock block felt like.
