thats the same turbo i used for my custom set-up, well almost, mines a -15g. its good to about 15 psi. i run 8 - 9 psi with it now and have done so for a year. it spools very fast ( positive pressure at less than 2000 rpm) and will produce good boost up to redline. dont be fooled into thinking you need a huge turbo for the street, they make gobs of top end power but boost is slow coming on. the smaller turbo will make an excellent street turbo

I agree. That's a good sized turbo. Bigger than the Greddy unit from the SOHC kit.

That's so cute! I have the same turbo on my ZC turbo CRX Si (JDM). Let's see... boost comes on fast but that's about it! There is no such thing as topend when it comes to this lawn mower turbine. If you have a SOCH D13 or D15 this is a good upgrade but for D16, ZC or any B series engine this thing is ENTIRELY too SMALL. TD05 or Garrett T3 is a better choice.

ok every one says its to small but i belive it is the exact turbo that pushes like 240 hp out of the t-5 volvo's i have an LS and would not be pushing any more than 6-8 psi. would it work for me?

If you were gonna use this turbo on a DOHC engine, i'd recommend you go for a TD05H - grab them out of a 4G63 engine from an Lancer Evolution 3 (black/silver cover engine, NOT the red cover Galant VR4 engines (if you guys have these laying around in junkyards). I don't know much about your DSM turbo cars there, since we only have mitsu here, but I used that turbo for a while and it kicked ***. positive boost at 2100rpm and it pulled hard till about 6000rpm, then it starts to run out, but nevertheless, a great little turbo - perfect for street use.

I've never heard of a 16T. I have maps for the TD04-16g and TD04-18T, but NEVER heard of a 16t. The 16G (and 16T if it exists) is bigger than the TD04-13G on the WRX that can make more than 300hp on the WRX, so I wouldn't say it's at all useless (especially since a 1.8L will flow much less and will use less boost than the WRX uses).

sorry, no info though.
