Very new to turbos just got a kit for a kid Ik for my d16y7 an it's got a td05 16g turbo was wondering if I could use a t3 downpipes cause I can't seem to find any downpipes that for this turbo an my civic

turbos come in a **** ton of variety

i'm sure the turbo you have was an oem turbo, so no the "T3" style (most like 5bolt ford style) that you see alot on the web will most likely not work

either post a picture of the turbo (exhaust side, specifically) or post as much of the model #

OP, did you get the Greddy kit? That should have come with an O2 housing elbow (it doesn't actually hold an O2 sensor in the Greddy kit, but it does in Nissans IIRC, thus the name), which bolts to the turbo, and then has a three bolt pattern for the downpipe. Or is this some backyard turbo style thrown together kit? Post some pictures, show us what you're working with.

If it's a thrown together backyard kit, then buy the flange and get a local exhaust shop to make a downpipe for you. You'll probably come out cheaper (and with less headache) than trying to find a direct fit downpipe.
