ok so i have a greddy kit with a tdo4 turbo but there is a lot of shaft play in it so a buddy of mine told me to buy his dsm te04 because "it is basically the same thing". ok here's my problem. my buddy is an idiot. the flanges on the two are diff. it also appears to be water cooled aswell ( am i correct on this?) he says he has a volvo turbo aswell but i checked it out and the flange was completely diff on that one too. so what i'm asking here is did i miss anything else as far as differences go? if i were to waste my money on a new manifold where could i find one with that bolt pattern and lastly does anyone have any interest in it the turbo i just bought all i know is that it's a te04 with no shaft play i even have the downpipe with it. it's in good shape i just wasted my money on somthing i didn't need, i think i'm going to just rebuild my turbo.
