Default TD Autowerkes SFWD EK gets new goodies! Lotsa Pics!

About 2 weeks ago Damian decided he was through with the turbo setup on the EK and decided it was time for a change ....

1) GT4067 swapped in favor of a Precision GT4294R with .98 AR turbine housing

2) Tial 44mm wastegate swapped in favor of a Tial 60mm wastegate

3) 3.5" TD Autowerkes Downpipe swapped in favor of a 4" TD Autowerkes Downpipe

4) Brand NEW TD Autowerkes T4 Top-Mount/Tial 60mm manifold

Here are the results:

...how to get every penny out of a hoist

..Herms aka "Hermalicious" getting busy with mock-up

...so far so good

..downpipe finished up

....pic from beneath

New dyno #'s coming shortly as the AEM just returned from repair, more pics to come, stay tuned!

Special thanks to Tial Sport, Precision Turbo, Ferrea, Spinwerks, Competition Clutch, AEM

Non divided manifold with a divided turbine housing?!?!

OK

Is it just me or do the manifold runners look a bit small? What's the ID on those?

they are 1.5 inch........

and the manifold was originally going to be divided but we decided against it because we already had the tial 60..... the turbine housing was milled and sharpened at the center....

You would know better than me, but that looks like 1.5" OD.... which is pretty small. Maybe it's just that huge turbo too....

I'm interested to see how that works out. I wouldn't do it myself, but I am curious.

When you think about it you really must be losing effeciencies by doing it his way.... kinda defeats the whole purpose.

i dunno............................i got decent $ for the old setup.....so the new upgrade came rather inexpensive.......

and since i get free tuning it was an even trade!
