Default Tapping Oil Pan

Is it ok to tap the oil pan on the side thats not deep, as long as its all the way to the top? Becasue my fitting on the return line cant turn all the way to the other side..

should be okay. I would only worry about how long your return line would be. Just so it is above the oil level you should be cool.

oh yeah, make sure not to tap it in right below a oil pan nut, I almost did without thinking. Its just more of a PITA to get it off and on. Good luck

I used a bulkhead fitting on my oilpan with uz- disks to seal it, no leaks what-so-ever.
