Default tach skipping

I have a Gsr/Itr turbo integra and when i past 3500rpms my tach just starts sticking for a sec then starts jerking forward towards redline..its like all over the place, and my shiftlight starts going off like im hitting my shiftpoint..any ideas on what it could be???

im using stock integra tach with autometer shiftlight.

It's probably the ignitor about to go out, same **** happened to me. Or check your wires, the tach signal could be touching ground or something.
