Default T25 turbo ?s

Is $50 for a T25 a good deal? The guy says it has no shaft play, and is in good condition overall. He said it came off of his SR20 swap for his 240sx drift project. I was planning on doing an NA build, but have found that it could easily end up more than a junkyard turbo kit.

It's a fair deal.Ive seen alot of T25s andT3s in u pull in save junkyards around here. And $50 bucks is the cheapest you can get them for.Unless you take a few minutes each time you go to the junkyard to feed the dogs some of last nights leftovers and then go back at around 2am

Can you please explain this. Sorry to seem so dense but, like I said, I was looking into all motor until I found this turbo. I don't plan on boosting more than 7-9 PSI (until I build the motor). I've heard mixed reviews other places, I plan on making no more than 250-275 HP for now . I really just want a cheap and reliable setup. I don't think I'd even want to try to push 300 HP once the motor is built, I just simply want a bigger boost in power for less money than an NA build.

simply put a t25 is too small of a turbo for the amount of air a b16flows, once vtec kicks in that little turbo won't know what to do, you'd be better off going with a 60/63 off of a tbird or an svo

Hey sorry.I didn't notice what car you have.Yeah A T25 will spool really quick but because it's so small it will actually restrict air flow..Kinda like you trying to breathe through a stir straw.
