Default T25 on a b16

I am putting a b16 in my civic and i am going to do pistons and rods, but i have a turbo kit for it, but it has a DSM t25 turbo which i know is a bit small for the b16. i had it on my stock d series but threw a rod (probably due to boost spike), but if i had forged pistons and rods, would i have a prob with this turbo on my b16? I know a bigger turbo is better but my bill for the b16 and parts/ install is getting bigger and bigger so i simply cant afford a new turbo now, but a bit down the road i plan to upgrade to an EVO3 (keepin it dsm so i can keep manifold and dp same). So more or less do you think a DSM T25 will cause damage to forged pistons and rods at like 12 psi?

t25=waste of time 16g=waste of time. dont be ghetto, buy a real turbo. even a 42/48 garrett will be more fun that those two turbos. i have a 48/60 on my b16 and its wonderful. spools real quick and pull hard to 8k RPM.

btw, u dont need to build the motor for 12 psi. just have the car tuned right.

ya i know, but thing is that i plan on putting a larget turbo in within the next few months, my goal is 350ish hp, but at the same time i need the car asap becuase its my only car, so i was just going to put the t25 in more or less to fill the gap....until i can afford a larger turbo...

no, put the motor in the car and drive it. when u can afford to turbo the car the RIGHT way, then do it once and do it right. click on the link in my sig to see my build. its done CHEAP and done well

the t25 will not damage the engine any worse than the tune will allow.

btw, a 16g is generally bigger than a .42/.48 T3. Hell a 14B is about the same size as a 42/48

the car will run fine with 8:5:1 compression, it will just be slow, no big deal
