There is no such thing as a "a/r .51" TO4E turbo. We have no ideas of the wheels that are in this, so we can't tell you anything. And you didn't give a great description of this at all, so help us so we can help you. It's like saying "Hey, I got these white shoes and they have laces, how comfortable are they going to be on my feet and what brand are they?"

What kind of car did this come off of? can you take some measurements of it? I was thinking it might be a Garrett T51, but your post wasn't descriptive enough. I'm gonna see if I can find a pic of a T51.

take measurements of the following if you can:
compressor inlet, compressor outlet, turbine inlet and turbine outlet.

Is this turbo out of a car that came from the factory with this turbo? Most Garrett T04E's are stamped M24 on the compressor housing. The only M11 markings I see for Garretts are T3's and I think some T25's. Try contactiong TheShodan, maybe he knows.

cant tell you what car its off of it came from a swap meet ..the exhaust has no flang its just a circle that gets clamped, the fins on the filter side have two sets one sort of sunk behind the other and theres 12 of them ,11 on the exhaust side , it has a four bolt flange but with 2 inlets i read that it helps the turbo spool

dont think that's a T04E you have. It might be a Garrett T25 50 trim or maybe a T3 50 trim. It also sounds like you have a divided turbine housing. A T04E compressor housing has a 3" inlet and 2" outlet. Does your turbo have an internal wastegate?

Does your turbo look like this

Or does it look like this

yah, that info might have helped earlier. Does it look like any of the turbos in the first link below? it sounds like it might be a diesel turbo. According to the second link I posted it is out of a Navistar. The p/n dont quite match up, but they are close.

press CTRL-F and type in t04e13

You'd have to find out the specs on the turbos. Send TheShodan an IM and see if he can help you find the compressor and turbine fan specs on that turbo. Either that or contact the people at qualitydiscountturbochargers and see if they can help. your last option is to remove the compressor cover and turbine housing and take measerements of the compressor and turbine fan diameters and post them on here so we can compare it to other compressor fans.

measure the compressor wheel exducer, inducer as well as the turbine wheel exducer and inducer.

if the inlet appears to be v-band with 2 inlets its from a ford navistar/powerstoke engine... the nice part is that those turbos are gt technology... something like a gt40r. garrett used diesels as the testbed for the first gt series lineup... its a little big for a stock b18c1 as the ar is around 1.10 or so ( i know this because i build diesels)

yea... lots of power... the turbo on a diesel is rated to 350-400 because of the airflow it requires... on a gasoline motor, its good to over 800
