Synapse missing link, engine cleaning and axles questions
Head removed and ready to take the block off for machining and install new sleeves. Question is what best method to clean the engine head, block and bottom?
The machining shop said they place them in tanks with some chemical but that won't get the result i'm after like new or near new look.
I was told to also to use some chemical called gizer I think? The powder blasting and coating shop said they can steam vapour blast it, similar to powder blasting but uses glass instead and chemically treated. The guy said to me the parts will look like brand new, only thing cannot be used with anything with moving parts or bearings else it will damage it.
Would I still need to use Synapse missing link if I'm using a 4 or 5 bar MAP sensor and Apexi FC + commander? The whole point of the link is to stop the engine check coming on and damaging the MAP sensor it self but seeing its being replaced with a higher range one and complete ECU I don't know if it is still needed?
Anyone who achived 300-400hp at the wheels, did you have to upgrade your axles?
