what are the symptoms of a blown headgasket ? ive already searched the archives but couldnt really find any definate answers.

White smoke, overheating, bubbles in coolant, water in oil, oil in water, bad compression. Check for bubbles in coolant first, thats an obvious and easy one to check. Other than that a leakdown test is the sure way to tell.

open up your cap on the radiator, see if you see any oil floating on top of it, also, the white smoke out of your tail pipe.
